The auditing and consulting company AGIC conducted a study on the fruit production industry in Georgia, based on the financial data of 2023. The research reviews the financial statements of medium-sized (third-category) companies and aims to assess the sector’s financial condition and identify key trends.
The study analyzes companies’ revenue, assets, and profit indicators, as well as major market players. As a result, the industry’s average financial ratios were determined, establishing benchmark indicators that allow companies to evaluate their position in the market.
The research also highlights the dynamics of fruit production, export, and import, along with identifying leading companies and their efficiency indicators. Through financial data analysis, the sector’s average profitability, liquidity, and solvency ratios were defined.
